THE SALIENT FEATURES OF AMATEUR KICKBOXING ASSOCIATION OF ODISHA

Kickboxing has become a fastest growing sport in all over the World. The Amateur Kickboxing Association of Odisha has taken the responsibility to spread this popular Martial Art in Odisha. Amateur Kickboxing Association of Odisha has been registered by Govt. of Odisha through IGR, Cuttack and the area of operation is all over ODISHA. It is also Recognised by Odisha Olympic Association (OCA) and has been awarded with ISO 9001/2015 & MSME UDYAGAYA Aadhar by Govt of India. The trademark of our association is registered by Govt of India & Wako India is recognised by Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports Department Govt. of India. The Wako India Kickboxing Federation (WAKO INDIA) conferred Amateur Kickboxing Association of Odisha (AKAO) as the only registered body in Odisha and granted a Certificate to conduct the Sports “Kickboxing” throughout the state of Odisha.  Our values is to create the sense of purpose to ensure fitness, health and wellness. We take immense pride in our values which are critical to WAKO ODISHA’s long term success. Our aim to organise, impart  and promote a healthy society through the Sport of Kickboxing. We aim to develop a self esteemed, disciplined and healthy person through Kickboxing. We aim to  start Kickboxing academies in every district to promote and prepare best kick boxers for podium finish in Olympics and Asian Championships. Our motto is Self Defence through Kickboxing. We offer coaching programmes and educational resources (Seminars) for trainers and coaches to ensure a high level of expertise and skill development among instructors. Our association focus on nurturing young talent through dedicated youth development programme and competitions to groom future kickboxing stars. Our associations collaborate with medical professionals to ensure that medical support is available during events and after to handle any injuries. Our association strive to achieve parity between male and female kickboxers by offering equal opportunities and recognition to female kickboxers. To achieve these goals we are participating in various State, National, and International Level Competitions and winning medals at highest levels. Our kickboxers are regularly participating in Higher Secondary and College level competitions. We are proud to inform you that we are achieving medals and accolades in All India Inter University Competitions. Our association is blessed with support of renowned Lawyer and academician Mr.Bhabani Prasad Mishra the Chief Advisor of AKAO (WAKO ODISHA), Mr.Kartik Dakua the Founder President of AKAO (WAKO ODISHA) also Vice President of WAKO INDIA, and Mr.Hemanta Das Retired Additional District Magistrate as the Vice President of AKAO (WAKO ODISHA). In this short period AKAO successfully organized many State Championship, Referee/Judges Seminar & Training Camp, Inter-District Championship, National and Zonal Championship in Odisha with the support and guidance of WAKO INDIA Kickboxing Federation (WAKO INDIA).
